UFO Amongst Dogon Tribe in Mali

The Dogon are an ethnic group living in the central plateau region of Mali, in West Africa. They are known for their rich cultural traditions and beliefs, including their complex cosmology and knowledge of the stars.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Dogon culture is their belief in the existence of extraterrestrial beings, specifically a race of amphibious beings known as the Nommo. According to Dogon mythology, the Nommo were the first beings created by the supreme deity, Amma, and were sent to Earth to teach the Dogon about their advanced knowledge of the universe.

The Dogon also have a deep understanding of astronomy and have been able to accurately predict the movements of celestial bodies, such as the star Sirius, for centuries. This has led some to speculate that the Dogon may have had contact with an advanced alien civilization in the past.

In the 1930s, two French anthropologists, Marcel Griaule and Germaine Dieterlen, conducted extensive research on the Dogon and their beliefs. They were particularly interested in the Dogon's knowledge of Sirius, which they claimed was a binary star system long before it was confirmed by modern science.

According to the Dogon, the Nommo came from the star system Sirius, which they refer to as the "Dog Star." They believe that the Nommo have the ability to travel between Earth and Sirius using a spiral-shaped spacecraft called a "po." The Dogon also have detailed knowledge of the Sirius star system

Some have suggested that the Dogon's knowledge of Sirius and its companion star could only have been obtained through contact with an advanced alien civilization. However, others argue that the Dogon's knowledge could have been passed down through oral tradition and observation over generations.

Despite the controversy surrounding the Dogon's beliefs, their knowledge of astronomy and their connection to the Nommo continue to fascinate and intrigue people around the world. Whether or not the Dogon have had contact with extraterrestrial beings, their culture and beliefs offer a unique perspective on the mysteries of the universe.
