British handing over ceremony of Emperor Selassie's Hair to Ethiopians .

Britain, on Saturday March 21st 2019 had an handing over ceremony done to give back the locks of hair for the late Emperor Tewodros II of Ethiopia in England. The emperor's locks of hair was captured in Abyssinia and was in a museum in England.

The hair was given to the Ethiopian minister of culture named Hirut Kassaw according to atlas obscura . This came about after a request was made to take back his hair to Ethiopia by the Ethiopian people.
